In honor of Sri Swami Satchidananda’s birth centennial, LOTUS – India was dedicated on December 22, 2014 with a magnificent celebration. Built in the shape of a lotus blossom (the ancient symbol for the soul’s spiritual unfolding) LOTUS is a sanctuary for silent meditation, contemplation and prayer. It has altars for multiple faiths and is a place where people of all backgrounds honor their individual traditions while realizing the spiritual unity of all.

2,500 Pilgrims devotees and spiritual aspirants celebrated the new spiritual center on Dedication Day. An additional 15,000 + people visited LOTUS – India the following 2 days.
